No — walk-ins are always welcome on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations guarantee your table or cabana and are strongly recommended for Friday and Saturday nights as they fill up early.

21+ after 9PM daily. All ages are welcome before 9PM with valid ID. Valid government-issued photo identification is required for entry. Management reserves the right to refuse entry.

Smart casual is recommended on Friday and Saturday nights. Athletic wear, sportswear, slides, and overly casual attire are not permitted on peak nights. Management's decision regarding dress code compliance is final.

Yes — the rooftop has roll-up doors creating an indoor and outdoor feel year round. THRōW Social DC is open Thursday through Sunday regardless of season or weather.

Yes — the Sunday Brunch Social runs every Sunday from 12PM. No cover charge ever. Full brunch menu, cocktails, bar games, and rooftop access. Walk-ins are always welcome or reserve a table in advance.

All reservations are made via Tock. Click Reserve Now, select your table or cabana type, choose your date and time, and complete the booking in under 2 minutes.

All table and cabana reservations include a $100 venue fee payable at the time of booking. A food and beverage minimum of $400–$600 also applies on the night, depending on table type.

Three table types: Stage Front (best views of the main stage and 20-ft video wall, up to 8 guests, $100 venue fee + $450–600 F&B minimum), Interior (great atmosphere, up to 8 guests, $100 + $400–500 minimum), and Double (large groups up to 20 guests — contact us for pricing).

Cancellation and modification policies are managed through Tock at the time of booking. The $100 venue fee is non-refundable for cancellations with less than 48 hours notice. For assistance with an existing reservation contact guests@throwsocialdc.com.

We recommend booking 1–2 weeks in advance for Friday and Saturday nights. Stage Front tables sell out fastest — especially on GoGo Fridays. Thursday and Sunday bookings are generally available with shorter notice.

Yes — Double tables accommodate up to 20 guests. For groups larger than 20 or full private event enquiries, contact guests@throwsocialdc.com or use the Private Events enquiry form on the website.

Friday: $20 from 8PM–10PM, $30 from 10PM–close. Saturday: $20 from 10PM–close. Thursday: no cover charge. Sunday: no cover charge. Cover charges may vary for special events and will be communicated on our Instagram and events page in advance.

Table and cabana reservations include a $100 venue fee which covers entry for your group. The door cover charge applies to walk-in guests only.

No — the Sunday Brunch Social has no cover charge ever. Walk in free from 12PM every Sunday.

All cabanas include a $100 venue fee plus a food and beverage minimum of $400–$600 depending on cabana type and night. Every cabana booking includes complimentary welcome shots for guests 21+. The full experience runs 3 hours.

Every cabana includes a furnished private space, complimentary welcome shots (21+), a dedicated server, and 3 hours of VIP experience. Optional add-ons available at checkout: welcome bottle, balloon arch, Polaroid camera, and custom cups.

Three cabana types: Interior Cabana (up to 10 guests, from $100 + $400–500 minimum), Double Cabana (up to 20 guests, most popular for large birthdays and celebrations, from $100 + $500–600 minimum), and Rooftop Lounge Cabana (exterior open-air, up to 10 guests, from $100 + $400–500 minimum).

Absolutely — birthdays are our specialty. Book a cabana within 6 days of your birthday and receive a complimentary birthday package at no extra cost: a marquee name shoutout on the 20-ft stage, birthday dessert delivered to your cabana, a sparkler send-off, and welcome shots for the whole group (21+). Just mention your birthday at the time of booking.

Cabanas are booked online via Tock. Select your cabana type, date, and time — then add any optional extras at checkout. The process takes under 2 minutes. Cabanas on GoGo Fridays sell out early — book as far in advance as possible.

THRōW Social DC can accommodate up to 350 guests across 11,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor rooftop space. Full venue buyouts are available for exclusive private events.

Yes — live GoGo bands and DJ sets can be arranged as part of your private event package. Please mention this requirement in your enquiry and we will include it in your options.

Yes — Kick Axe DC is located in the same building downstairs and can be combined with a THRōW Social event. Your guests can throw axes, do Nerf battles, or rent The Den downstairs, then head upstairs to the rooftop for drinks and live music.

Yes — the main stage features a 20-ft full HD video wall with professional sound system and lighting. Suitable for corporate presentations, brand content, product launches, and live video feeds. Mention your AV requirements in your event enquiry.

Axe throwing is available at Kick Axe DC, located downstairs in the same building at 1401 Okie St NE. Sessions are approximately $36 per person for a coached 60-minute experience. Book at kickaxe.com/dc.

Yes — and this is the ultimate DC night out. Book axe throwing at Kick Axe DC first, then head upstairs to THRōW Social for GoGo music, rooftop cocktails, and bar games. All in the same building. No other venue in Washington DC offers this combination.

The Den is a private space at Kick Axe DC accommodating up to 10 people. Available to rent for 1.5 hours at $150. Perfect for small group events, team outings, and private parties before heading upstairs to the rooftop.

1401 Okie St NE, Washington DC 20002 — in the Ivy City neighbourhood, minutes from downtown DC, Union Station, and the H Street Corridor.

Street parking is available on Okie St NE and surrounding streets. Nearby parking lots are also available in Ivy City. Uber and Lyft are strongly recommended on Friday and Saturday nights when street parking is limited.

GoGo is Washington DC's original music genre — born in the 1970s. It blends funk, soul, R&B, and hip-hop with a relentless live percussion groove that never stops. Created by Chuck Brown — the Godfather of GoGo — it is the only music genre native to Washington DC. THRōW Social DC hosts live GoGo bands every Friday from 10PM on the main stage. You cannot experience it the same way anywhere else in the world.
